Legal Sources Research Center (FRQ)

The Legal Sources Research Center (FRQ) is a department of the Institute for Legal and Constitutional History at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna. It has been in existence since 2017 and is primarily responsible for the publication, commentary and other indexing of legal sources, but also supervises the Editorship of the Journal BRGÖ. Their most important cooperation partners are the Commission for the Legal History of Austria of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the Leading Commission for the Edition of the Imperial Court Files of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences, and the Hans Kelsen Institute (Federal Foundation).
